So got for my son a Xbox One in December 2014.
For now I think it's ok... but not great.
It's basically like have a PC... when it works it works. But some times you have problems and you have to restart the thing.
Things like the control disconnects for some reason. The thing freezes at the home page.
Don't know if it's a firmware issues or the console.
Warframe is a cool game but god it's buggy. If this was the only game you had you would swear the xbox one is double K, middle A.
.... And yes I play on the thing more than my 12 year old son.
But Media Browser works on it. Just now and then when you start a video the Xbox One turns off!!!???
Can't say I've had issues with mine... Oh wait, it's still in its packaging at the MyG offices waiting to be delivered during the first week of March. "whistling:
Haven't had issues with mine.
Havent had any problems and are your control batteries new?
I'm using rechargeable batteries...
Do you guys use Media Browser 3?
This almost doesn't sound like an Xbox One we're talking about. I use Plex and Media Center for all my music, movies and series, and would advice anyone with an Xbox to get a Plex media server running on their PC for streaming to the Xbox. It works like a dream.
Then Any issues I've ever had with the Xbox One was that noise issue when it came out, but an update fixed that very quickly. All issues have been resolved by simply updating the console.
We did start an Xbox One thread the day it launched, but so few people posted that it just died. At the start it was almost only Beotek and I that posted there. But seeing as more and more people are getting the new console we might just pull a thread necro on it.I was thinking the same thing and do the same things with mine. Also don't understand the issues about the controllers and console switching off. I wonder if this guy really has an XBOne or if this is an attempt to get posts for the comp.
BTW, has anyone else noticed how this forum section lists all consoles except the Xbox One?

PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS/3DS, PS Vita: The forum category for consoles. No Xbox One on that list.

Ah I see what you mean. Well it's probably just an oversight from the PC/PS4 favouring people in charge of the site..."whistling
