Xbox One launching in South Africa in October?

I would agree with you on the bucks... but i prefer the PS controller... Its what im used to and the X-box controller feels strange to me...
 
First of for me there is also the controller issue the PS one is just to small and if u have huge hands like my you start getting aches after a while, then there is the battle between exclusives to platforms (which i think is utter BS) so the only reason i will buy an xbox one is because of Forza

And it being released in Oct only makes for a good Christmas present seeing as you can get a PS 4 from FNB and the you can buy the xbox one with Christmas bonus

but if you were at rage you could have tested both consoles and i still dislike the ps4 small controller.

I Guess we'll have to wait and see
 
I do hear what you saying, but there is no way I can justify purchasing both consoles... thats nearly 20k on games...

I also cant justify a console for one game... like forza... for me there is at least one game, that may not be as good, but thats good enough for me...

I would buy a new console just for battlefield and be perfectly content (if I had the money of course). Dont know of any other game that I would play on it though.

Of course exclusives are bs, but unfortunately they get people to buy consoles for the games, so they're pretty much here to stay. You've just got to decide which exclusives you don't mind to miss out on.

Yeah, there don't seem to be too many great exclusives, but the PS4 does have a new Killzone and Uncharted exclusives :p

Also the guy that said exclusives are timed has it a bit wrong some exclusives really means just that and that it will not come out on any other platform for said exclusive Titanfall is one because Microsoft went the monopoly route again also as with Forza and then you have the PS ones Killzone for one which i would love to have and God Of War and i would like to myself compare GT to Forza

So the whole dual console thing looks to be the option if you really want to play all the awesome games but yeah 20K for 2 consoles is insane i can think of many other things to do with that amount of money

Eish, what are games going to cost next year? A grand? This R/$ is getting so out of hand.

that 2015 crash is looking more and more realistic.

u hear you man :-( at the rate the rand is going, i may have to reconsider even STEAM Sales, forget the insane console prices. i honestly reckon its gonna hit 1K by next year :cry:

Yeah, I'd love a console but I just can't afford to get one, especially since I've invested so much into my PC games collection. It just makes me sad I havemiss out on games like the Last of Us and GTAV and Little Big Planet :(
 
I'll still wait until (if) MyGaming gives one away in a competition and try winning it that way. I'm a SONY PS fanboy - so I'd much rather buy a PS4 and try winning an Xbox One. PS4 is cheaper anyway, right? And, what's more - I'd only have the Xbox for its exclusive titles. Seems a bit of a waste to purchase a console, only to play a handful of games. Very expensive "investment".

It is quite pricey. I imported the Xbox from the UK just for Forza. I love my racing games and GT6 left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Forza 5 is so much better on so many levels. Although it has fewer cars, its cars I actually want to drive and not 20 versions of the same thing.

Did you pay a lot extra to get it from the UK? Sometimes it is just easier to import something, but if you get import duties...
