Xbox One S Is Really Small- Smaller Than The PS4

Microsoft weren’t lying when they were talking about how the Xbox One S would be the smallest console they have ever made. The smaller, redesigned console, which launches tomorrow worldwide, is apparently really small- in fact, according to a comparison done by intheGame Netherlands, it’s smaller than even the PS4 now, and the PS4 is pretty small to begin with.

The comparison picture above shows us just how small the new system is- the fact that it’s this small and with an integrated power supply means that it’s some pretty impressive hardware (though we have to hope that it’s not so cramped that it’ll overheat- bad memories of RROD are still a thing for the general gaming public).

This makes the Xbox One S smaller than any current generation console on the market except for Nintendo’s Wii U, which is even smaller. However, the Wii U also uses far older tech, so its small size relative to the Xbox One S’s is less impressive. The PS4 is currently slated to get a Slim revision according to a few rumors too, however, so we may yet see the PS4 regain the lead in terms of being smaller and slimmer.

Ps4 is already a nice size, don't think they need a slim, ever.

I actually stripped my PS4 the other day, and you'll be surprised how compact it is in there. There's actually little to no wasted space.

And on track of the topic, that Xbone S looks damn fine! NOt that I really have an issue with my current one, it actually blends in nicely with the rest of my appliances.
