Xbox One: take a closer look at multiplayer

I also see that they are hinting at cross platform play between the PC and the Xbox One. That'll be great if you could play TitanFall on the PC with your Xbox One buds.

That wouldn't be viable,any cross platform game that pits PvP where precision and speed is necessary won't be fair because the PC gamer will always have an overwhelming advantage.

That might be the case, but I bet you'd be surprised at just how damn good you can get at BF3 using only a controller, like 2nd nature

wish MS would put me out of my misery, I want a release date please?

MS has tested this and its been discussed before the consoles players did not match up to the pc players in matches when they tested cross platform (Not because of skill but because of the tools being used) But I think it would be completely viable for co-op games.

I never said beat, top players PC vs top players console, win = PC,

Casuals vs casuals, might be more even competition, but sure, mouse + keyboard is probably better, I just love my controller so much more, only miss strategy games :(
 
Co-Op is perfectly viable,just look at Warframe and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Both are cross platform though i have noticed some console players are having trouble doing critical tasks in Final Fantasy,some seem to have adapted by using Xim
