I think I'm making progress with my consistent bugging and annoying people. Hopefully we'll get an update from XBox South Africa soon.

I'm just tempted to get a PS4 Pro instead of the X, so I can play BloodBorne and Nioh; and probably some other PS exclusives.

It's a difficult one. There's a whole lot of PS4 exclusives that I'd like to play. But for some really silly reason my gamertag is super important to my primitive brain. I own the name Solitude on the XBox and lots of people have wanted to buy it from me. It feels like a privilege to have it. So um, I'll be staying the XBone.

Probably the usual way, Pre order will go up a few weeks before physical release.

Just after the announcement at E3 the price of the Xbox One X went live on the official local site for R7499. It vanished a few weeks thereafter and everyone expected the worst. With our terrible exchange rate and all the hidden import duties and fees it was likely going to cost an arm and a leg to own this powerful piece of hardware. Thankfully that is not the case.

This morning at rAge Xbox South Africa confirmed that the Xbox One X will be heading to South Africa in time for a launch ahead of Christmas. What game out of nowhere was the confirmed suggested retail price of R7499, the same cost that originally showed up on the official site. It’s a highly competitive price considering just how powerful the Xbox One X hardware promises to be.

Best you start saving those pennies. At least it’s not going to cost anywhere near as much as any of us anticipated.

I trade in all my games with them. Which is nice because I had a lot of credit which means I'm paying substantially less for the XBox One X. What I like about them is that they are small and reasonable. Like lets say more details come out about the XBox One X and there's maybe a bundle that includes Forza 7 for a little bit more. You can just contact AWX and change your order and they are helpful and it feels like you are dealing with actual human beings.
