XBox One X

So have anyone else pre-ordered yet? Or are interested in pre-ordering? I see the pre-orders are now available all over the place.

I was actually for a moment contemplating either upgrading my PC, but at the end of the day I'm too entrenched in the Xbox platform that I will need to have the X in my life. Also seeing as it's so much smaller it will be easier to travel with.

Are you going to start playing Forza 7 now or wait for the XBox One X? I know you got the game delivered already.

I'm absolutely gonna play Forza before I get the X. You should see the game on the normal OG Xbox. It's insanely beautiful. I just can't go without playing Forza.

I'm keeping all the other AAA titles in the bag until the X comes though. Plus there are a huge list of games that I already own that will get the full 4K treatment once the X comes out. The list of games is becoming really long.

Here is an article that lists all the games thusfar that will get 4K upgrades for free once the X launches.

That's a lot of games!

I think I'll keep Forza for the new console though. It'll be the first game I play on there. It feels like the right thing to do.

i have 2 360's i still have my launch 2006 one (well it was swopped due to rrod so technically its a never 2007 falcom) that im afraid to switch on these days and the slim i won here on mygaming, i keep all my console lol

yes i was holding out for the slim cause i couldnt stand the fat x one and then when the slim was announced i was excited and then scorpio was also announced at the same conference, and i was FCKit i'll just wait a bit longer and get the best one, and in the interim while waiting for the console to launch i bought quite a few games so i already have a collection of x one games i can play when i get the console.

You'll soon learn that backwards compatibility is an awesome feature.
 
I'll add it on my wishlist on Takealot, glad they have it in.

So I'll buy it with ebucks down the road. My Takealot wishlist is becoming tricky now, because there are 3 things I want.

1) 27" QHD GSync 144Hz monitor
2) GTX 1080ti
3) Xbox One X

I'll have to decide in which order I want them. I don't game on my Xbox1 all that much, mostly use it as a media machine for watching movies and series. Ofcourse there is also the fact that I kind of want a PS4 Pro so I can play some of the cool PS exclusives. So many things, so little time and money.

Also, if I wait a bit the 1X might become cheaper and bundled with a game or 2, so perhaps I can score down the road.

the one x is actually going to increase in price here since were getting uk PAL region stock and in the UK the console is already in the R8000 Region since its 449 pounds. Xbox SA is just honouring that price at launch since they initially posted it on the xbox site a few months ago.
 
A quick PSA to all you people thinking of getting the Xbox One X...

The 4K downloads have started for your games. You can go into the Settings and select whether or not to download the 4K textures. All your games currently installed that has 4K updates will then download. Note that the downloads are massive! Forza 7 for example is almost 30GB in size.

What you should do is probably get an external drive and backup all your games onto there. Then, once you get your X, you simply just plug in your external drive and all your games are immediately available.
