Xbox vs PS3 Prices

shoot me for saying this but i think the main thing you should take into consideration when choosing a console is looking at which console most of your friends have coz they the ones ul b swapping games with and playing online with.
at this stage i say xbox and ps are on very equal footing with each having some unique advantage over the other
 
Guys please the consoles are so cheap YOU only robbing YOURSELF of great games by choosing 1 camp over the next.......

But for the budget conscience, there may be more to the equation beyond the initial console purchase price.

What are your friends playing. As the Hamster said, it definitely makes life easier if you and peeps are all playing the same console. Game exchange among buddies makes a lot more sense if you watching the bottom line. It also allows you to play before you do eventually decide to buy.

Also Consider which console has the greatest number of units out there. (Sadly PS3 looses this battle) With far more Xbox consoles out there, Game Programmers, developers etc will put most of there money into ensuring they cater for the needs of the masses. After all, in the long run it is them who are paying the bills. It makes business sense to go fishing in the pond where the most fish are if you are wanting a return.

BTW the PS3 is only trailing by less than 1million units, which is peanuts considering the year gap between the 2

So by your definition if everyone jumps in a fire YOU will also jump because most people have jumped into the fire ??? Nice theory.......if you stuck to this then you must go buy a Wii as they klapped both xbox and ps3
 
i read once. if u have a lot of friends in real life get a wii, if u have a lot of online friends get an xbox, if u have no friends, get a ps3:)

Getting hold of Dopo seems to be the main problem and reading the thread theres only a few lucky people so far
 
Yeah heard from him on another forum, Its not really his fault. Its was down to poor stock control at the branches but it has given him some insight to how things work and he says he will try smooth things out so the next time the specials show up he can get us all hooked up.
 
Have a PS3 looking into getting a Xbox now as well just so i don't miss out on those console specific games.Also sometimes graphics look better on on than the other.
