Xfire just raped cap

I'm rather new to using exfire, only started about a 2 weeks back, but after this morning, I'm over it.

Xfire started download(what?) at 4 in the morning, it was still going, if a bit slower, when I woke up and killed it.

Here's a screen shot of what happened, I'm using netlimmiter which is a great little app to monitor diffrent applications bandwith usage.

Does anyone know why and what it just downloaded and UPLOADED?
Thats 357mb down and 278mb's up, ffs!

When you click on the files property in Xfire it tells you exactly what files were downloaded. I've never had that problem since I disabled anything that could cause something like that.

You see for international users it's great that Xfire can automatically download patches and all kinds of things like that but I disabled that feature among others.

Did you configure Xfire properly to use as little bandwidth as possible?

Yeah it was downloading game patches. You need to turn that off.

Like Solitude, I too have disabled largely all of its download capacity. Never liked any kind of auto-updating if I can avoid it.

Never had the problem myself as I make sure that when I install a program that connects to the internet, it does not download anything automatically unless I specifically want it to.
