YCLSA to boycott Pick n Pay

The Young Communist League of SA on Saturday said it was supporting a call to boycott Pick 'n Pay.

"We are disappointed that Pick 'n Pay has not heeded the call not to trade tomorrow [Sunday] in honour of the late president Nelson Mandela," spokesman Khaya Xaba said in a statement.

"Pick 'n Pay is choosing profit over mourning this gallant hero of our liberation struggle."

Yeah, lets not donate the profit from the sunday sales to the needy. It's either I'm getting older or people here are getting dumber.
 
What profit, it's all going to charity. I'm sure Mandela prefers charity to sleeping in.
 
YCLSA who? Who are these goons anyway? A drop in the ocean in the PnP revenue I'm guessing.

So the impact of a paddocks 35 fewer people? Assuming that they actually shopped there and there isn't insolence in their ranks? This boycott isn't worth the paper it's written on; lol :D
 
what a joke! if these these poo flingers bothered to do some reading (those that can) they would have known that Pick n Pay donated all the profits they made on Sunday to charitable causes in honour of Mandela
 
Well this whole debacle did exactly what it was supposed to: Publicity! (how many of you have ever heard of the YCLSA before this :) )
