So just don't put any civilians in the game. In fact why is this even a question? Do BF3 mechanics somehow require civilians?

It's only fun in BF games when a talk rolls around a corner and 10 snipers are camping right there...

How many of you guys really shoot everyone in a game? I remember playing hitman and on a few occasions killing everyone in the game. Why? because there is no consequences. In other games like Fallout and Oblivion killing insistent people had repercussions and I killing sprees never happened. Fail @ DICE taking the option out, rather give people reasons not to do it. Having played Deus ex I've noticed Id rather take the harder road to avoid killing than just all out killing everything in site. Isn't making that choice part of the game experience?

but in BF3, naw, just kill da enemy!!!
