Your AC:B thoughts?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering what you guys think of AC:B as a whole (Including MP)?

I for one love this installment! I love the fact that we can see more of Desmond and the campaign is actually pretty long! I played from 12-6pm and only completed 2 DNA sequences (And I didn't touch MP). The graphics are soooo much better and I haven't noticed fps issues at all. The mission variety is good and I like the new "tomb" sequences. I got the Codex edition so I'm playing with the Drachen armour and wow it makes Ezio look like such a bad ass :D
I haven't played MP yet I'm going to do that now. So what are you thoughts?

I sucumbed and picked it up. Just started it and loving it.

If Im allowed to voice a prediction... The next installment is going to be set completely in Desmond's time.

Keen to check out the MP

I'm loving it so far as well. Singleplayer is really good and there is so much to see and do. Drachen armour kinda messed up some of the missions for me so I took it off. (The armour stays on even in parts of the game where Ezio isn't supposed to be wearing any armour and kinda ruins the cutscenes.) Multiplayer is awesome as well, very addictive.

I think I'm in love.
Multiplayer is simply, absolutely awesome. Not very far in SP yet, but seeing Ezio again was like welcoming back an old friend. He's just such an awesome character.

I really hope not. It's appeal lies in it's historical setting. Perhaps something in the 17th or even 18th Century?

Agreed but i have enjoyed playing with Desmond so far besides him going into the Animus with his back pack still on...lol! But I do see theres some bird symbol that the back pack is blocking.

I loved the intro clip for the mp - makes it a bit more realistic in terms of the game.

I do miss Altair and the time of the crusades though - can I say that?!

Think about it. In AC one Desmond could walk around and interact with a few objects. In ACII he runs, jumps, fights. In AC:BH he actually strays away from the others, going out into the little villa running along roof tops and the like. Natural Progression is that there will be even more in the next one. Once Ive finished the SP i'll be able to comment more of it.

Do i think its the best route to go... I dunno. This has always been Desmond's story so its only natural to assume it will at some point focus solely on him.

listen..this game is beautiful..iam loving it..bt wtf my code for my dlc is nt working.it seems like its a few digits short...HELP!!!!

Played a few rounds of MP last night.... very unique but as usual the human element fails. First round I ended 3rd. 2nd round I failed and 3rd Round I ended first... why? Coz all the idiots run around like its a fucking deathmatch. And losing a pursuer is so easy. break line of sight, blend, disguise. Even killed one of my would be assassins. The only time they do get you is when they catch you by surprise since u have to defense. At one point in the 3rd match I had all the other players except for my target chasing me.

The mp interface also need a bit of work and why for the love of pete can't I join a ranked match my friends are in... kind of makes social gaming a big fat zero.

I hope Ubisoft takes the time to improve upon the MP coz its got alot of potential.

Sp I've played some MP yesterday and I must say that I am very pleased with it! It is a MASSIVE improvement over the beta (Obviously) but I mean in terms of all the new features and such... I must agree with Fenix. The idea is a brilliant one but the players all treat it like a CoD game :( At least it makes finding your prey easier :D I absolutely love it and I will definitely be getting to level 50!
The only thing I don't like is the matchmaking! It is terrible!!!!

Got it on Saturday but went away for the weekend so only played about 10 mins. Can't wait to get home and pick up where I left off :)

This game just keeps better and better the more I play. Definitely the best one in the series (so far). The Leonardo machines missions are damn impressive and a lot of fun. The minigame thing were you send your recruited Assassins on missions is also very addictive, all my recruits have now been initiated into the Brotherhood. :p Also really loving the platforming catacomb sections and all the different side missions. Ezio's new killing moves are awesome and the execution chains are a very welcome addition.

Oh yeah I forgot about the execution chains! Awesome! I also really loving the virtual training in the Animus its not everyone's cup of tea but I find it challenging and fun :)

The combat feels really easy, especially when you start chaining strikes. Im sticking to counter attacks and disarms.

The bit i have played was fun. Human element lets it down though. Having people running about instead of trying to blend it can leads to heaps of fail.
