Your Experience with Service or Lack thereof

So this morning i stop by the Gas station i stop at every day i go to work, i get up at 4 in the morning and then put in gas get some sweets and all that. i stop and an attendant walks up to me i tel him fill up with 95 please. and he walks off for the next 5 minutes he's looking for someone else to help me, why i don't know.

Then another 2 minutes goes by and here come another attendant walking as fast as a Parkinson's diabetic with a walker that forgot he was supposed to be moving, he gets to me and asks what i want?

So i just lost all self control and told him to take the petrol hose and shove it somewhere the sun don't shine and maybe he'll catch a wake up.

Drove to another garage and get there tell the attendant fill up with 95 he goes and M*$rs 93 into my tank and spills a shitload of petrol over my tank and seat i felt like nailing him with my helmet.

Drive off pissed off cos now i'm late and i smell of petrol, get to the toll gate and the woman in the booth is fast asleep. honking and tapping on the glass didn't wake her up.

if i can work 12 hours night shift sure as hell they can at least do 8 hours. So yeah the amount of service we get in this country is pathetic.

Anyone else's views?
 
That just sounds like too much random for 1 morning!

I generally get service where I go, mostly because I am patient when it comes to things.

I see a lot of people blow their tops so quick at crap service where I would just wait a few minutes more.

Why shouldn't they? These idiots are getting paid to do that why shouldn't people expect some decent service. Its these peoples attitudes like we owe them something :mad:

But yes that would annoy me as well, i usually drive off if no one pitches at all and just lets you wait there.

I think my point of view stems from me being in a retail environment for 5+ years. I've seen people flip out for the stupidest things and most of them are so unreasonable! But I'm glad I'm out of that industry.
 
Well i used to work retail too and that's one of the reasons i fell like i do i worked for PC gaming for 3 years and KFC/Steers for 5 believe me i've had it all even had food thrown at me by drunk people, guys climbing through the drive thru window to cause shit.

So i feel i deserve some type of service even if it is just a little and @ Tydmors Yes ek ry ver :( maar atleast net 3 dae en dan is ek 4 dae af dan 3 dae werk so gaan dit maar

My dad had some awesome stories from KFC. He once had a body builder as a store manager. On day a guy was causing shit about a burger that was missing mayo, then he calls the manager and out comes this massive guy. The manager calmly said I'll make you another burger but please don't throw it at my face like you did with the last one. That customer got quiet very quickly after that.

Bitching about no mayo is a bit cheap, especially when there are tomato and mayo stands for the customers.....

When I first heard the story he was described as one of those arrogant guys who can't wait to pick a fight. He was quite happy to through his burger at a girl though so that says enough.

I think your mistaking mcdees for kfc Roomys they don't have condiments for the customers freely. :p
 
Every time one of my branches drop I have a tug-of-blame between Axxess and Telkom - getting real sick of this...
 
It took me over a year to get my Vitality reinstated and for Discovery to acknowledge their cockup. Even then the discount what they want to give me because of their **** up is a complete joke compared to what their mistake cost me! :mad:

MTN cellphone repairs is utterly useless. I have taken a phone of mine back there several times to sort out the issue with it switching off and they still give it back to me saying it's fine. I accept it back, get home and my phone is off! Ffffffuuuuuuu.... Seriously how the hell do you get a cellphone company to replace a defective contract phone?
 
if you're looking for a night out with terrible service, look no further than Dross Willowbridge. once we had to resort to pouring our own drinks
