Your gaming highlight of the year?

Not necessarily just best game...but in general.

Cool LAN? New hardware? Awesome time jamming a MP with friends? Streaming something? Board game? Nice indie game?
 
There was no real definitive in the world of gaming for me. What I'll report on was getting FTTH uncapped. It made the world of difference in downloading updates (especially in SC2). Watching You Tube clips of games being streamed or broadcast in 1080p has been nice.

Outside of that, mostly played SC2 ... replaying the campaigns as well as Coop. Now to build up the confidence to play 1v1 2v2 etc.
 
I don't know if there was a solid highlight.

But I did rediscover Cities: Skylines, in the future I want a city simulator that simulates game traffic even better.
 
mine would be getting a upgrade on my GPU.

Other than that i just jam league, moved from support to ADC.
I played some SC2 but saw that the game died alot i would like to jam some SC2 again next year.
i would like to get into some FPS games next year have not played a FPS game in a few years.
 
Yeah was a fairly bland year in that regard.

Enjoyed SC2 Zerg campaign.

Also replaying SC1 remaster - must say that's interesting seeing how memory vs the real thing align. All the missions are much easier than I remember them.

Wolfenstein the new Order (highly underrated)
Zelda BOTW (even on the wii u it is a masterpiece of a title)
Cuphead

Xbox One X (truly impressed with what it can pull for the same price of a graphics card), definately satisfied with that purchase
 
Mine has to be when I earned Global Elite rank in CSGO :)

Was tempted to investigate buying one based on this. Does sound like decent value for money.

Then I realised consoles come with controllers & the insanity quickly passed. Can't use one to save my life. :o
