Your Happiest Memory

Taking a stab here: Your wife either posts on mygaming too or looked over your shoulder while you posted - Perhaps even dictating the words?:D

No on all counts :)

Forgot the first time we kissed...

But yea, there is no experience like finding the missing piece of yourself or holding a piece of yourself.
Unless you are recently amputated, then it's a different story "whistling:

Lol! Just teasing. I am glad you can be that guy that says and feel the way woman would like you to.

Getting a 3 piece punk band together and playing our first song. I literally had to sit down after, I could not believe what had happened after years of dreaming about it.
Then at a festival after 4 years of playing together we had what looked like 1000 people going off. Looking across the stage mid song at my two best friends also going bossies.........actually brings a tear to my eyes right now I swear. Never been so proud of two okes like that in my life. The band is no longer but we are still best mates.

Also, most times when I paddle out for a surf, my happiness level is immeasurable.

Sounds utopic. I've never surfed, but always loved the surf culture. I watch any and all surf movies and doccies and often gawk at amazing pictures of big wave riders.

Out of interest, what was your band's name and what instrument did you play? Who wrote the songs and lyrics and who did the vocals?

The bands name was Late Night Showing, I played bass and vocals were shared between myself and the guitarist, same with song writing. I sang songs I wrote and he sang songs he wrote. Pretty much exactly like Blink 182.

As for surfing, I cant recommend it enough. Just go take a nice big floaty board and go mess around in the waist deep breakers for an hour. It could change your life. One of the great things about surfing is you cant be taught. Its all up to the the individual to learn themselves. Once you stand on your first wave.......that feeling of flight is unbeatable.
Its fantastic excercise too but the beauty is you don't realise because of all the fun you're having!

I live in Gauteng. The only breakers we get are the house kind. Seriously though, it sounds like a dream. I might just dream of it tonight. :)

I 100% mean what I am about to say:

You ever come down to East London, you let me know. I will take you for a few surfs.

Deal?

Sounds like a plan! Need to visit East London one day, my wife's never been in that region. She only knows Margate and surrounds and the West Coast from Blouberg up to Paternoster.
