I tend to play games that are a year or 2 older, so my GotY won't reflect what was released this year. With that in mind, I did enjoy StarCraft 2 immensely.

Oh, forgot I actually played these this year! Yeah, they were all excellent as well... Still busy with my first Skyrim playthrough, around 22 hours in.

AC Unity (not due to bugs, but after Black Flag, the only AC I'd played, I just expected more adventure)
Watch Dogs (not a bad game, I quite enjoyed it, but it's not something I see myself wanting to go back to)
Final Fantasy XIII-3 (was just so over this saga by the time it released, couldn't finish it I found it so boring)
