There is nothing worse than massive anticipation after an awesome game , followed by a crappy sequel. I just wanna flick the CD through an open window, missing the burglar bars.

- how?? Play it. It's what, 9 years old? I remember buying a graphics card just to run this when it came out. Course, in hindsight it's patchy but still the performance of Alyx Vance is one of the top moments of character creation in any game.

That's a pretty tough one to answer. So many games that I love, but here goes (in no particular order):

  • Planescape Torment
  • Thief Gold (closely followed by Thief 2)
  • Divine Divinity
  • Deus Ex 1 (Invisible War was MASSIVE decline, and Human Revolution was merely okay)
  • X-com (the original game, not the Firaxis abomination)

I can probably expand the list to include modern titles, but no modern title really fits into my top 5. I don't think a modern title will even make it into my top 10.

Agreed.

Having to go and search for something is troublesome and time-consuming.
