My first rig (not the first I've worked on) was a 486DX with 16MB RAM and an 80MB hard drive running windows 95 (barely). Ah I had good times getting the sound card to work on that thing, messing with IRQ settings until I finally hit the right combinations. :p

a 1.5Ghz AMD (can't remember the model, but apperntly it was a P4's equal)

Can't recall the mobo, think it was asrock
14' CRT
no name white keyboard and ball mouse
 
I can't remember the hdd size or any of that, but my first PC had a 8086 CPU and a hercules monochrome screen. I played Monkey Iskand and Leisure Suit Larry on it. :D
 
XT 2 or 4MHz ..... with a "black and white" screen that showed green and a dark grey :P

I did use a C64 before that but it wasn't "mine".
