So, We all have our share of hardware and accessories. However, what is your MUST have for winter? Clothing and convenience wise, e.g fingerless gloves.

I'm looking into making my gaming more comfortable and would like some wisdom...

Must have milo, you have seen the ads. Makes you take on the bigger boys lol
Its nice when you have the gf making it for you while she lets you game away - like mine :P

Hot Water bottles work wonders as well. Also I usually have my duvet wrapped around me

usb warming gloves ;)

Milo! *sips*
fuzzy slippers. A woolen poncho or my zombie fleece hoodie.
For days that it gets really cold then wrap blanket around me a few times as well.

Want to get fingerless gloves and a ear warmers.

Tbh, I can't see how fingerless gloves work :? The tips of my fingers are the things that I want to warm up the most...

have you ever tried typing with normal gloves on? They can decipher a new language from it.
the gloves keep most of the hand and bit of fingers warm, so if it's just the tips sticking out won't be so bad.

Back when I was raiding at odd hours of the morning, I used to wear a down-filled -5 degree sleeping bag with a cowl. I looked a bit like a giant purple caterpillar in front of the PC, but it was by far the warmest configuration I could find...

Lots of layers, beanie, scarf and hoodie. A constant supply of horlicks or coffee is also essential :D

A warm hoodie, preferably one without those tight finishes around the wrists (they are so uncomfortable when resting wrists on desk). Put hoodie over head when headphones don't keep ears warm enough. Nice wool socks, because I don't game with shoes. I still prefer water over any hot beverage though. I might need to get me some fingerless gloves - aim is way too shaky on css 'cause of the cold.

All these things are good but can't play with gloves on and fingerless are not working for me either. I usually have to get up and go soak my hands in some warm water when fast action on my game is required.

Scarf and beanie! I cannot wear gloves while playing computer games. Might be my mouse but my aim is off and there is no friction to keep my hand steady on the mouse.

Especially when playing Starcraft 2, wearing gloves while playing Starcraft 2 is basically a handicap. :p

Im Consedering getting one of those Blanky things... you know the Blanket that has arms and a place for you head! :)
Also a little heater for Da Feet.... If my feet is warm im a happy camper (no pun intended)

Don't your guys hands get warm holding the mouse? Mine does. And the other hand keeps warm by hovering over the WASD keys.

Still gaming in a T-shirt :p No heaters in flat.

heres what i wear in winter:

1. one polar fleece blanket wrapped arround me
2. thick socks and slippers
3. scarf around my neck
4. beanie on my head
5. a pair of leather racing gloves (like the ones people wear who have lavish sports cars)
6. Coffe/Hot Chocolate or mile to keep the insides warm
7. warm water bottle to keep my back warm

No one mentioned long johns. Super comfy and super warm.

Fingerless gloves suck in my opinion. They're too bulky to use the mouse properly and the tips of the fingers still stay cold.

I've got these nice little wool gloves, but it's made from very fine wool and has rubber prints on the tips so it glues to my mouse and keyboard, they've never let me down. Sometimes when I want to really immerse myself I wear a balaclava. Or I make sure I'm gaming inside a room with a aircon.

I normally just wear a comfy tracksuit, fleece blankie around my legs, thick socks, slippers, fingerless gloves - love mine. Oh and a warm water bottle either at my feet or my back. Plus I have a small heater that I use on very cold nights.

Seriously guys. Don't you own a heater? Definitely need nice polar fleece jerseys and stuff, but warming up the room a bit works wonders.

EDIT: Aside from Wyvern and m3n4ce, who also know of these wondrous devices
