We have all seen situations where a player online stands between victory and defeat, with mere inches seperating him/her/it being remembered as great for ever amongst his peers and becmong, well an entry in this thread.

This thread is dedicated not to the hapless fools that never get it together, but to the ideas behind their actions, the thought of glory that so often is just out of our grasp.

5 v 1 Split in last seconds of Sudden Death on Overgrown.

The Plan
Play the 5, Kill them all as they attempt to Plant the Bomb at A

What Actually Happens
Players Kills one guy from Rooftop, is spotted by Second and Third players on opposing teams, is partialled once and then falls to his death by stepping off the roof while trying to avoid incoming fire

2 Terrorists are presumed to be inside the Hostage room of Assault
3 SAS Players inside the vents, stacked to breach vent and deploy

The Plan
HE Nade the Vent Cover, Pop one flashbang and drop down from the vent

What Actually Happens
Rear SAS Player throws HE Nade, Nade hits front player
All three players are killed

TERRORISTS WIN !

Terrorists have taken the facility and it is essential that the Team clear the area at the top of a Ladder to allow for high ground advantage.

The Plan
Nade the top area to clear out any potential danger when climbing up

What Actually Happens
Luna Throws an HE Nade, all of us are stadnign there watching it arc all the way up to the top area, then come all the way back down, killing everyone, ecept for Luna who presumable had known what was coming and had stepped inside one of the cells to shield herself from the explosion

The Plan
Use Molotov to Burn the Infected to death, saving both ammunition and essential HP Points

What Actually Happens
Faffa hits me with the Molotov, igniting all of the survivors then runs around for a bit screaming about being on fire before becoming incapacitated

What Actually Happens
One Nub starts shooting out the ceiling, thereby rendering the protective bunker useless
Second Nub goes crzy and throws flares EVERYWHERE
(Smart Guns Lock onto Heat Sources, the Flares rendering them useless)
Everyone Dies, pretty quickly

Bombcarrier aka me takes bomb towards A, kill any potential players while on route.Plant bomb and win the round.

What actually happens

I rush towards A on the tin roofs and jumping onto A Arch balcony, gets fired upon and dies dropping bomb in near inaccessable spot for teammates. Attack looses round...

Standard Sabotage game

The Plan:
Plant bomb ASAP and pray to God the team isn't a bunch of overtime camping ****nuts.

What Actually Happens:
Bomb gets planted and defended by ONE guy until it goes off, next round, attempt same thing, didn't work and the 1st round was the only victory for the team.

And thats why I love FFA so much. Don't have to worry about a bunch of morons who can't follow an objective.

Call mortar strike on enemy sniper on other side of map

Outcome:
Targeting scope hits an invisible portion of the shrub I'm standing next to (i.e. invisible texture). Mortar strike comes down on me and rest of squad. Tricky business explaining that...

Defend the Bomb Site, with my Life
I steel myself for an Epic Last Stand

What Actually Happens
I camp that Bomb Site like a pro, weaving, creeping, killing one of the three guys against me
Then I realize that I am on Attack :/

** Yes this actually happened to me, I had my TS disconnected for that round so could not hear my team calling me a d--s for not doing anything
