Hey man, they're headphone jacks so you'll need an adapter to 1/4". I'm not sure of the recording latency of the device but these days it should be almost negligible. If you run it in ASIO mode and use ASIO4ALL on a good enough PC you can drop the latency substantially through any recording device bar the hardware latency which only the manufacturer can be responsible for.

Long story short, I wouldn't recommended it for studio use but I'm sure it'll be fine as a simple I/O for playing and gaming.

Ps. Rocksmith is AWESOME!

Edit. I've used 1 before for regular gaming and music, never for Guitar Rig, Rocksmith, Revalver, Amplitube etc.

Mmmm. I've had a bad experience with 3.5->1/4" adapter before, so I'm not quite convinced yet. I'm going to keep looking for a bit, but it might be worth the risk at the price, and my electric isn't getting the love she deserves..

Hi there, Zaps Ant/Data Manipulator/Moody,

Last night, while window shopping for a mouse and hard drive, my mouse died. Completely. Won't even twitch when I poke it. Good timing, isn't it?

Thing is, I'm in Pietermaritzburg, and I'd like to make sure that A) the mouse reaches me quickly, since I'm now using my phone as a trackpad, and B) that the hard drive arrives whole and working. Which of the shipping methods that you guys use would you recommend? I see that CIT economy lists 3-4 days, but the normal CIT has no estimate..

That is amazing/terrible/wow timing. I would recommend Fastway Couriers. No complaints about them ever. Low priced and we package the hell out of hard drives so there wouldn't be any issues :) Delivery with CIT and with Fastway are around 2-3 days. In most cases 2.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a cheap Logitech mouse to hold me over, and I'm still debating about the HDD since there are soooooo many other toys I want right now... I'll be placing an order as soon as I've made up my mind, though, because this mouse is pretty frustrating as well. :D

I placed my order Wednesday morning at 10 am, got my mouse 10 minutes ago. 50 hours total for 600 km away, not too shabby!

Thanks for the great service and awesome shiny soft clicky new mouse!
