I was sold until I got to the missing guitar part, also why no PC version it does have one.
@Ike_009 Problem is that there are thousands of different guitar models out there and not every shape/colour/whatever suits every person. Even n00bs still have a preference for what they want their shredding machine to look like. There were a few Rocksmith/guitar bundles brought into the country but they were very unpopular for this exact reason. I mean you can always pop into a cash converters and buy a Gypsy Rose or a 2nd hand Ibanez(personal recommendation if you can find one for cheap) which will work better than the bundled axe anyway. It's all about giving you the opportunity to find a guitar you're happy with. Because let's face it, music is all about aesthetics ;)

Yeah, you definitely want to avoid the Cash converter guitars. You can get much better ones for a minuscule amount more at your local guitar shop, while feeding a starving muso in the process, as well as building a relationship with the guys that can (and will, if you give them half a gap) impart bucket loads of knowledge on you. Everything from make of guitar, amp, pedal, strings to technique, musicians, style, habits, and prices will be described in ridiculous detail, way beyond what you'll ever need.. But you'll never want for any info again. Become friends there, and you'll learn how to string and tune your guitar quickly, and eventually how to do the more difficult set up. Well worth it.

Everything else the Ant speaks is the truth. (Except one thing; Ibanez is like a M-series BMW, IMO. You don't want one second hand, because you know exactly how she was handled.) You definitely want to put some personal thought into your choice of axe. Spend some time on it. Play on her, just not Stairway to Heaven or Wonderwall. Get to know her. Then get your axe.

If you do it this way, with care and interest and a little bit of time, you might just never look back.

I totally agree with the Cash Converters bit, was just an easy out for someone who wants to do it casually. If you were really interested in guitar/bass and didn't just want to fiddle around until you get bored, go to a music store, because as Avatar said, bottomless pit of info if you give them a chance to keep you there for 4 hours at a time. I know from experience. Find a chair. Trust me.

Regarding Ibanez, both of my Ibanez'szszszs are 2nd hand and I love them to absolute bits. But at the same time I do meticulously inspect every axe I buy before it leaves the shop/sad,silly former owner's possession. Therefore, sir, I DEMAND SATISFACTION *takes off glove* hahahahaha but yeah. 2nd hand buys can be dodge. But they can also be dusty gems if you find the right ones.

We really should take this to the guitar thread, because I'm about to pull up a chair! :D

On the 2nd hand Ibenae, for Ike's benefit: If you buy it at a guitar shop, with the guys there having a look too, you'll be golden.. They'll be quick to point out faults, since they typically only get commission on new sales. Else, take an experienced friend you've made at the guitar shop with to lend an eye. I'll be the first to admit, though, that you get gems at these places. I got my Boss SD-2 at CC for R150 in 2006; still use it every time I plug in. Got a Boss GT-6 for R1500 at the Pta Music Mate, for a good 2.5 years, and it worked hard in that time, being my main stompbox while playing regular gigs. 2 moves later, one or two buttons broke and shorted in such a way that the screen doesn't always work! XD

Ps3 The Last Of Us Releases on Friday

This just in: By that I mean our stock of The Last of Us for PS3!!

Available Friday 14/06/2013 at 9am.

The population has been decimated. The United States government has collapsed long ago. Twenty years after the outbreak, abandoned cities are slowly reclaimed by nature. Roaming bands of survivors are killing each other for food, weapons, or whatever they can get their hands on.

Joel, a ruthless survivor with few moral lines left to cross, lives in one of the last remaining Quarantine Zones. These walled-off, oppressive cities are run by what's left of the military. Despite the strict martial law, Joel operates in the black market of the city, smuggling contraband for the right price.

Joel is asked by a dying friend to look after Ellie, a fourteen-year-old girl with courage beyond her years. What starts out as a simple job to deliver Ellie to another Quarantine Zone, soon transforms into a profound journey that will forever change Joel and Ellie.

As they trek across a post-pandemic United States, Joel and Ellie will encounter different factions of survivors that have each found a unique way of dealing with the infected humans, the lack of supplies, and the threat of other survivors. As Joel and Ellie struggle to persevere, they must learn to trust each other and work together in order to survive the realities of this new world.

At its core, The Last of Us is about the bond that forms between Joel and Ellie--it is the story of love, loyalty and redemption.

Antec Lanboy Air Modular Open-Frame Gaming Case

The Antec Lanboy Air Gaming Chassis is a fantastic piece of kit. Almost fully modular(no, you can't shape it into a spaceship) it will cater for almost any setup you could possibly imagine!

Meet the LanBoy Air. Nearly every part on this case, even the motherboard and PSU mounts, is modular and customizable. Up to 15 exhaust fans create positive air pressure inside the case that blows dust and heat out through panel perforations. Up front, the LanBoy Air's AirMountsâ„¢ HDD mounting system literally suspends drives in mid-air for unsurpassable vibration and noise resistance. Along with its two internal 2.5" SSD bays and a front-panel USB 3.0 port, the LanBoy Air is the last word in high-flexibility PC case design.

Available in red, yellow and blue!
