ZAPS - Please try and get this!

Hi Tinny,

I've watched some youtube videos on this Eagle Eye device and ALL of the gamers who played with it at E3 agreed that it's the BEST solution available for any console. They asked people how it compared to devices such as the fragnstein and they ALL agreed that the fragnstein SUCKED DONKEY NUTS compared to the Eagle Eye.

Apparently this is the first and only TRUE solution for FPS games on the PS3 to use a keyboard and a mouse and it works so well that people say it feels exactly like playing a FPS on your PC. The input lag on this device is apparently next to nothing where as the fragnstein has deadzones and massive lag issues.
 
@Neo: Take a look over here. That dude seems to be able to get it and it doesn't seem to expensive either. Maybe you can get him to organise you one.

Way ahead of you dude. I checked it out through Take2/Amazon and the price was R880. But I thought it would be lekker to get someone local to bring this thing in and ZAPS seems to the only people open-minded enough to actually get the stuff that gamers want without waiting for local South African suppliers to wake up and smell the coffee beans.

If ZAPS isn't going to bring them in I'll probably get this, but at the moment it's just for Killzone 2 and I don't know I can justify that. I'm getting the PS3 Move as well later this month and it's supposed to be the solution for Killzone 3 - if I find it's no good I'll get the Eagle Eye - but so far, the PS3 Move seems to have solved the FPS issues on consoles for me - will have to wait and see.
 
Yeah seems zaps brings in the stuff gamers want just hope they can buy the stuff.

Well not directly, but you can use Take2 to get anything from Amazon. It's a curse really. That convenience has destroyed my savings account. lol. I find it weird sometimes that stuff coming from Amazon UK is MORE expensive that the same item coming from the US. You really have to check the prices - some of the differences between the UK and US stuff is huge. You do wait a bit longer for stuff coming from the US though.
