The latest issue of Xbox mag OXM is teasing a big reveal for next month, saying for the moment only that “One of the best games ever made” is set for a reboot. It seems the announcement was originally scheduled for this month, but had to be pushed forward for one reason or another.
“It’s a real nuisance, not least since we’ve been trying to cover this game for months, but these things happen,” says editor Jon Hicks over on CVG. “The publisher was very apologetic but apparently the game just won’t be ready in time.”
It doesn’t stop there, though. According to a later post, somebody in the comments has it. But nobody’s saying who or what.
“It has been correctly identified in the CVG comments thread, though,” says Hicks. “I’m impressed – although I still can’t reveal which one of the guesses are right.”
He did confirm, however, that it’s not the Halo: Combat Evolved remake.
