Nvidia’s new GeForce GTX 1060 3GB has officially landed in the country, delivering the most affordable Pascal gaming experience yet.
The 3GB VRAM version of the card is almost identical to the 6GB version, with speeds differing slightly between models.
It does also boast a slightly lowered CUDA core count (1,152 versus 1,280) and one less simultaneous microprocessor (9 versus 10), which brings the number of texture mapping units (TMUs) down to 72 (from 80).
You probably won’t be using it to play 4K, although early indicators show that the card is around 10% faster than the Radeon RX 480.
