Ill be honest.. I have been the biggest fanboy of Logitech for the longest of time.. If you go and look at historical posts you would see me trashing every other brand and promoting Logitech…
But ive reached my frustration limit. I officially for the first time in 12 years am purchasing a peripheral other than Logitech,
I have now decided I am suffering from battered wife syndrome and i need to move on. Out of respect to what this great company was I will not name where I am going. But i need to voice my unhappiness to hope if enough of us loyal fans do this they will start to take note .
It started back in 2003 with what i recall was the Logitech Elite keyboard / Multimedia keyboard. I cant recall what came first.
I then got the old blue Ship Logitech G15 . I got the G11 to take to lans.
I then moved to the Orange G15 .
I then got a G510
A G19 and I have G13.
Your keybaords have never failed me.. And every single one listed is STILL in working condition , A mate of mine is still using the Elite keyboard for his media server and his son is using my old G15 . Im very sure that in 5 generations some one would find that G15, 3 feet under ground in an abandoned building and it would still work .
Mouse wise I had a silly optical Logitech
Mx 518 ( the rolls royce of gaming mouse )
G5
G7
G9
G9x ( This is where things went south – About 5 replacements needed )
G700 ( 2 replacements )
G400 ( 3 replacements )
G400s ( on my second one now )
G402
G502
402 and 502 is not made for big hands. Had to go back to my G400S
Headsets my First was the Precision logitech gaming headset.
G35s
G930 ( 3rd one now and biggest pain point )
F540
Windows 10 this headsets disconnects randomly every few seconds. Its super frustrating.
The bottom line here is that im done with their New mouses not working for bigger hands, ( palm grip )
The Headset is also a nightmare and I have reached the point where im moving on .
Others
Steering wheel
Joystick
Z5500
Z960
Z series 2.1( Cant recall model number )
Harmony remotes.
Im getting the equivalent of what I have now from a competitor vendor. A $120 mouse A $300 headset . And possibly a keyboard if i manage to look past the G810 – I want one set of drivers. And moving away from the Logitech gaming software might save me from a heart attack .
The spark isnt an option for a keyboard as it has that silly grooves that eats into your fingers unless you have toothpicks.
Logitech has now lost a fan that has been supporting them for a very long time purely on not delivering what they should .
