YouTube’s Heroes program allows anyone to moderate any video

Anyone who has been brave enough to visit YouTube comment sections knows it is almost always a vitriolic and argumentative environment.

That’s why we’re a bit apprehensive about YouTube’s “Heroes” program, which will allow any YouTube user to become a moderator.

What exactly will these moderators be doing?

The volunteers help create the best possible YouTube experience for everyone by:

YouTube will also be rewarding these moderators for good work done with everything from access to exclusive workshops and sneak preview product launches.
