Rockstar teases Red Dead Redemption again – might be a prequel

MyGaming recently reported on Rockstar’s posting of a new red logo –  a sure sign that a new Red Dead announcement was incoming.

Now Rockstar have posted a new image featuring a posse of cowboys, which all but confirms they will be returning to the Wild West.

The image posted also seems to confirm prior rumors of a possible prequel setting starring John Marston and his fellow gang of outlaws.

In addition to the image posted last night, recent leaks point to two games being in the works, as NeoGaf confirmation of a remaster and a leaked image of the sequel’s map have both recently surfaced in the last few months.

We shouldn’t have too long to wait however, as the leaks get closer and closer together we can’t help but feel that an official announcement is imminent.
