The PC version of Battlefield 1 has received a significant visual downgrade after the latest patch.
As a result, dozens of users took to the game’s official forums to point out the issue as well as post comparison photos of before and after the patch.
User Arrogant_Amigo pointed out the following differences:
- clear lack of tessellation on some areas.
- lack of previous (pre-patch) anisotropic filtering/textures.
- terrain quality/decoration lowered, notice missing foliage and plants .
- HBAO/shadow resolution or shadow-draw distance lowered.
