Square Enix has announced that the third release in Chris Taylor’s fantasy action RPG series, Dungeon Siege, will not make its previous launch date of 31 May, and instead will now only be available on 17 June in PAL territories (that’s us).
Obsidian Entertainment is working on Dungeon Siege III, and while the developer’s last project, Fallout: New Vegas, was somewhat underwhelming, hopes remain high for their current work in progress.
In Dungeon Siege III, players will enter the kingdom of Ehb and play as a member of an organisation known as 10th Legion. 10th Legion is tasked with restoring order to the land following a war between rival factions.
No reason has been given for the two week delay. Dungeon Siege III is being released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
