    I believe our economic climate has little to do with it, I think the major problem bringing down game sales is the massive day one patches or sometimes the total lack of patches, leaving gamers frustrated when game development is just a side note to over long cut scenes and such, then all that paid DLC seems to cut into the budget for new games too.
