Younger kids should stay at home for Star Wars: Rogue One

15 December 2016

Rogue One: A Star Wars story releases worldwide tomorrow, 16 December but the first reviews have already begun to pour in.

One of the biggest points noted by reviewers is how much “darker” and “adult” the movie feels compared to previous Star Wars movies.

The movie which is rated 10-12 PG V by the South African Film and Publications Board features plenty of violence and intense warfare notes Business Insider reviewer, Kirsten Acuna.

“While I don’t recall seeing blood, the loss of life in the film is significant for a Disney movie,” notes Acuna.

“It’s not bloody or gory though, and “Rogue One” doesn’t linger gratuitously on showcasing deaths”.

“If you’re uncomfortable with the idea of your child seeing a lot of gunfire, war imagery, and death then you may want to have them sit this one out and revisit it in a few years. It’s a bit heavy”.

I watched it, its bad. i give it a 4. the only thing it does, it fill in how Luke knew how to destroy the death star. The lead actress is bad.It could have been a normal war film. don’t go expecting the force, light sabers etc. Its a run of the mill hollywood action film, I think they ran out of ideas.
The best part, is the last 10 min and that even is bad and i being kind here.
