Massive price cut for Oculus Rift VR headset

4 March 2017

Oculus has announced a large price cut for its Rift headset and Touch motion controllers.

The company has slashed the price of the Rift plus Touch bundle from $798 to $598.

The Oculus Rift VR headset and Touch motion controllers are now priced at $499 and $99 respectively, and an additional Oculus Sensor will cost $59.

The company said it is continuing to lower the barrier to entry for VR gaming.

It added that customers who purchase Touch motion controllers will receive a free copy of Robo Recall.

“All this represents another major step forward in making VR available to everyone,” said Oculus.
