We’ve barely caught our breath from the incredible week of gaming last week, with the likes of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the launch of the Nintendo Switch keeping us way too busy, but we’ve got ourselves another blockbuster week ahead.

Here’s the games you should take note of this week:

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands

7 March 2017 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)

Ubisoft is ditching the advanced tech you might typically associate for the Ghost Recon franchise, making Ghost Recon: Wildlands a more rugged, down-to-earth take on team-based military ops.

The tactical warfare takes place in modern-day Bolivia this time around, as you and your elite squad of specialists work to systematically take down a drug cartel in a giant open-world setting.

Nier: Automata

10 March 2017 (PS4, PC)

Offering a fresh blend of action and RPG gameplay styles, NieR: Automata is the follow-up to the 2010 cult hit NieR, and combines the design talents of Drakengard designer Yoko Taro in collaboration with development team Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Vanquish).

The game tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim a machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful weapons known as machine lifeforms.

The team behind Nier: Automata has made some pretty spectacular games, so there’s an expectation of quality; not to mention it features a very interesting combat system and some gorgeous environments.

More game releases this week:

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey

Ghost Recon: Wildlands
