What we’re playing this weekend (21-22 May)

20 May 2011

Tarryn van der Byl

Well, I won’t be playing LA Noire, because my copy is only arriving Monday because I didn’t order it in time because I suck. So I guess I’ll pull something out of the unfinished pile, and play that with all the limp, disconsolate gloom of those who dream of something better than this.

Dan Parmenter

This weekend I’m buying plenty of bottled water, stocking up on adult diapers, drawing the curtains, turning off my phone, turning away the line of morally misaligned wenches queued outside my front door and playing LA Noire until the apocalypse arrives.

Myles Gray

Any RPG fan worth their salt is likely playing The Witcher 2. So as to not buck this trend, this weekend I will be playing Pokemo… I mean, I will be playing The Witcher 2! That was close!

It started off a bit rough, but I am well into the swing of things now and the game is shaping up marvellously. Games like The Witcher 2 always remind me that I need to spend more money on my PC rather than buying more games.

James Etherington Smith

This weekend I think I’ll start out with a serious session of The Witcher 2. Then, I’ll probably move on to The Witcher 2. After that, I have been quite engrossed with the Witcher 2. Finally, I might just find some spare time to play The Witcher 2.

Nic Simmonds

After sinking most of my voting day (after voting, naturally) into The Witcher 2, I was able to tear myself away from Geralt’s latest adventure last night to try my hand at LA Noire, which I must say, has done nothing but impress me so far. I will be working towards writing a full review in the next few days, so watch this space.

Chris Kemp

This weekend I’ve got a whole night all to myself, so a healthy serving of gaming is on the menu. The courses are not finalised, but at the moment its looking like a warm, creamy bowl of League of Legends to ease into the evening, followed by an intense, spicy helping of Starcraft 2 (the bonus pool is expanding daily due to rampant neglect) and we’ll finish things off with a chilled glass of boot-to-skull (probably Tarryn’s) action in Crysis 2. Bon appetit!
