During the Livestream, many significant announcements were made, including the reveal of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Nintendo Switch Sports and a free content update for Metroid Dread.

Mario Strikes Battle League
The latest game in the Mario Soccer franchise has been revealed and will release on Nintendo Switch on 10 June 2022.
Splatoon 3 Salmon Run: Next Wave Mode
The next Splatoon game, Splatoon 3 Salmon Run Next Wave, was announced to hit shelves during the first half of 2022. The new game mode, Salmon Run, was revealed in April 2017 and allows four players in a team to take on enemies and bosses.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s Trailer
For the upcoming game Kirby and the Forgotten land, we got a new trailer that highlighted the game, particularly a new ability called Mouthful Mode that allows the titular character to consume items around him and transform into them. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is slated to release on Nintendo 25 March 2022.
MLB: The Show 22 announced for Nintendo Switch this April
Sony’s long-running Playstation Exclusive baseball game MLD: The Show 22 has been announced to be releasing on the Nintendo Switch handheld on 5 April and will feature cross-save capabilities.
Nintendo Switch Sports revealed
The spiritual successor to Wii Sports has been announced for the Nintendo Switch; the title will include new and returning minigames and will be released in April.
Nintendo Switch Online adds Mother and Earthbound
Classic Super Nintendo games Mother and Earthbound have been announced for Nintendo Switch Online. Both games are now available on Nintendo Switch Online.
Metroid Dread update adds Dread and Rookie difficulty options
Metroid Dread owners shall receive a free content update that adds a Dread and Rookie difficulty mode; the update can now be downloaded for owners of the game.
48 remastered courses coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
48 remastered courses will be released for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of a Booster Course Pass. The pass will cost $24,99 (R378,81) and will also be available with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack. The courses will be released in batches, starting with eight on 18 March and concluding before the end of 2023.
Xenoblade Chronicles announced for September 2022
The third game in the poplar Xenoblade Chronicles has been announced for September on Nintendo Switch. The released trailer teases the return of old characters, new characters and numerous new locations.
