Ubisoft announces new battle arena game

25 April 2022

Ubisoft has announced that it is developing Project Q — a new multiplayer PvP battle arena game.

Project Q’s official announcement came only hours after closed gameplay test footage leaked online.

Exputer reported that Project Q has two game modes — a battle royale and a battle arena mode.

The battle royale mode, “Showdown”, involves four two-player teams facing off against each other.

“Battle Zone” is Project Q’s battle arena mode, where the first team to rack up 100 points wins.

Ubisoft also stated that Project Q doesn’t have NFTs — a move which isn’t entirely surprising considering the failure of its NFT experiment in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

If you are interested in testing what Project Q has to offer, you can register on Ubisoft’s website.

Project Q will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, PS5, and PC (via Ubisoft Connect).
