All the big reveals from the Summer Game Fest stream

The Summer Game Fest took place last night and it was filled with new reveals and trailers.

Below we have listed all the major takeaways from the stream.

Street Fighter 6 Gameplay

Street Fighter 6 got a flashy gameplay trailer in which we got to see the game’s fluid, weighty combat.

The trailer focused on the gameplay of a character called Guile – a US Air Force pilot fighting for his country.


Aliens: Dark Descent Trailer

Aliens is another massive franchise, and the cinematic trailer that was shown off touched on the dark setting of the coming game.

The trailer hints toward a ‘new evil’ that players will no doubt be shooting at and fleeing from when the game releases in 2023.


Callisto Protocol

Callisto Protocol got a new trailer and some raw gameplay footage.

The much-anticipated title from the makers of Dead Space is set on a prison moon and will have players struggling to survive against monstrous enemies while admiring the game’s stunning visuals.


Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 got a trailer that showcases a new level of gameplay to fans of the first title.

The trailer showed the title’s excellent visuals and smooth controls.


Witchfire

A previously unknown title, Witchfire, was showcased through an intriguing gameplay trailer where the player character mows down enemies with a mixture of firearms and magic.

The title seems to be set in a world of magic and science based on its enemy designs and gameplay.

It is slated to come to early access on the Epic Games store soon.


Fort Solis

Another new game, Fort Solis, got a reveal trailer showing off a dark sci-fi setting and hints towards horror-style gameplay – complete with red light corridors, video logs and running.

The developers have promised that more gameplay and information is coming soon.


Outriders Worldslayer

The expansion for the looter-shooter Outriders got another trailer showing off its new enemies, weapons and locations.

Worldslayer will release on 30 June on consoles and PC.


Stormgate

A new RTS title from the developers who worked on the legendary Warcraft and Starcraft series, Stormgate is set in a futuristic setting that combines mechs and humans with fantastical elements like magic and demons.

Notably, the new title will be free-to-play and will offer multiple playable factions to enjoy.


Marvel’s Midnight Suns

We got another trailer for the upcoming Marvel’s Midnight Suns, which showed off the game’s roster of heroes and villains.

Midnight Suns is set to release on 7 October this year on consoles and PC.


Cuphead in “The Delicious Last Course”

The DLC to the challenging Cuphead game is coming on 30 June, and we got more info on what it will offer.

We found out that it will be predictably hard and will have lots of secrets and ‘super-sized” bosses to enjoy.

We also got some footage of one of the new bosses.


Honkai Starrail

We got another look at Honkai Starrail, an upcoming space RPG with an open world, from Genshin Impact’s developers.

The trailer showed off a new and exotic realm players will be able to explore.


Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero is a futuristic urban action game, and we got a brand new look at what it will have to offer.

The new title is also from the developers behind Genshin Impact.


TMNT: Shredders Revenge

This arcade-style game got a new trailer showing off new gameplay and features, including local and online co-op.

TMNT: Shredders Revenge drops on 16 June 2022.


One Piece: Odyssey

This game is based on the popular anime, and the trailer revealed players will venture to a new island with the Straw Hat Pirates.

One Piece: Odyssey is slated to release this year on consoles and Steam.


Metal Hellsinger

Metal Hellsinger is an intense rhythm shooter game in the style of Doom and places a big focus on metal music.

A demo for the game is currently available.


The Quarry

The spiritual successor to Until Dawn got its launch trailer.

In the trailer, we got a taste of what the game will offer with its decisions and characters.


Nightingale

Nightingale got another trailer which showed off more of its gameplay and provided hints about the game’s setting and story.

The trailer featured excellent visuals and gameplay similar to the sort you’d see in titles such as The Forest – complete with crafting and town building.


Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Darktide got a gameplay trailer in which we saw snippets of a mission with all the gory fighting one could expect.

The upcoming title from the developers of Vermintide is shaping up to be an excellent entry based on its gameplay and visuals.


Layers of Fears

From Bloober Team, Layers of Fears got a new trailer showing the game’s chilling setting and characters.

Layers of Fears is coming early in 2023 on consoles and PC.


Gotham Knights

The latest DC superhero game got another trailer showing off the Bat-family fighting against the underworld of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death.

Gotham Knights is set to release this year on 25 October on consoles and PC.


The Last of Us Standalone game

The Last of Us is getting a standalone game.

Not much information has been revealed, but Naughty Dog promised more information will come next year.
