Lots of Call of Duty content has been leaked – including new maps, weapons, and features coming to Modern Warfare 2, as well as a limited amount of information about a new Call of Duty game.
Because this information was shared via a leak, it is possible that these details could change by the time of release.

With that in mind, let’s start with the most notable Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leaks.
Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to release on 28 October this year, so the leaks surrounding it are more likely to be accurate. This is because there’s not enough time for developers to fundamentally change the core aspects of the game.
The first set of leaks for Modern Warfare 2 was about guns, and included the codenames, rather than actual names, of weapons that are expected to be in the game.

For maps and features, the leaks detailed several new maps and a swimming feature in some of the new maps.
Here are the codenames and titles of the maps from the leak.
Maps: Action_park, agentperf, ancient, backstab, catedral, climb, cruce, davos, dogtown, esports gym, exhume, favela, firing range, floating bay, grandprix, killhouse, lighthouse, luxury, mountain town, narcos, oilfield, ridge, runner, saba, salvage, tokyo, yellowcastle, Hydro, Museum, Swap Meet, Fishtown, farm.
Some of these maps are only codenames, and it is unclear how many will make it into the release product
The leak also contained references to new game modes, including:
- Bounty
- Free Roam
- Knock Out (Eliminate the other team or be holding the cash when time runs out)
- Ground War Bomb
- Ground War AI
- Prisoner Rescue (Take Turns Extracting the Hostages)
- Invasion (Hold the frontline and eliminate the enemy team)
In terms of perks in the game, the leak also revealed an extensive list of potential inclusions, although the exact details of each were not included.

In a similar vein, new field upgrades were included in the release – again, while codenames and names were provided, we can’t be sure what these upgrades actual entail.

Finally, the leak included images (sadly, they’ve already been taken down from the original leak) and the names of several of the new Operators in Modern Warfare 2.

Black Ops 6
The leak also indicated details for a game codename T10, which most likely refers to refer Black Ops 6.
Given that the leaks are for a title that hasn’t been announced and will only be released in 2024 at the earliest, there is far less information available in the leaks.
Like with Modern Warfare 2, the first details of the leak are the guns in the unannounced game.

As a final note, the leak also indicated that for Warzone 2, an upcoming mobile game, the title will include an interrogation mechanic similar to the sort found in Rainbow 6 Siege.
