Games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra in July 2022

5 July 2022

Sony has confirmed that two games will be leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra lineup this month.

These titles and the dates at which they will be removed are as follows:

  • Shadow Warrior 3 — 5 July
  • Syberia — 19 July

Shadow Warrior 3 is the latest instalment of the popular Shadow Warrior first-person shooter series and was a day one PS Now title.

Syberia is an action-adventure game that earned very positive reviews, and PlayStation gamers who are interested in the genre should be sure to check it out while it’s still available.

PS Plus Extra’s lineup of games works differently to the free PS Plus games that subscribers are able to claim every month.

Like PlayStation Now, the PS Plus Extra games rotate in and out of availability, and subscribers aren’t able to claim them for their collection.

This means that even if you have them downloaded on your console, you will still lose access to them.

However, despite losing Syberia and Shadow Warrior 3, subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra will be receiving Stray as part of the service on the same day it launches — 19 July.
