A complete list of games coming in August 2022

The month of July saw amazing video game releases such as Stray, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and MultiVersus to name a few.

While most of the highly anticipated title releases of 2022 are reserved for year-end, some notable games are coming out this August.

PC gamers will finally get the chance to play as their friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man from 12 August before moving to the release of the highly anticipated action-adventure game Saints Row on 23 August.

Our top five games releasing this month, as well as the rest of the games coming in August, are listed below.

Saints Row — 23 August

Saints Row is an action-adventure game that will have you explore a vast open world rife with crime.

Players will have to embark on their own criminal venture, as they rise to the top in their bid to become self-made.


Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered (PC) — August 12

Ported from PlayStation, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will have players step into the boots of Peter Parker’s Spider-Man as you fight crime and battle iconic villains in Marvel’s New York.


Soul Hackers 2 — 26 August

Soul Hackers 2 is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus.

Players will have to roam the cyberpunk-themed streets of Japan as they battle Devil Summoners who harness the otherworldly powers of “Demons”.


Cult of the Lamb — 11 August

Cult of the Lamb casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger, and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name.


Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed — 30 August

Crypto is back in the sequel to Destroy All Humans! to take revenge on the KGB for blowing up his mothership.

Invite a friend over and enslave Earth in local split-screen co-op.
