This week is a pretty big week for games, with the release of Batman: Arkham City swooping down on us this friday – but beyond the Dark Knight, there are a few other titles to grab your eyes.
Batman: Arkham City (360/PS3)
Probably the biggest release this week – and quite possibly the entire month – Batman: Arkham City is the sequel to 2009’s hugely successful Arkham Asylum which was way better than anyone actually expected it to be.
Developers Rocksteady Studios set a name for themselves with Arkham Asylum, and if the first reviews for Arkham City are anything to go by, it looks like they’re living up to it.
Featuring some of Gotham’s greatest villains, such as Mr. Freeze, Hugo Strange, Two-Face, Penguin and The Joker, my nipples are literally perked up in anticapation for this.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record (PS3)
We featured Dead Rising 2: Off The Record last week, listing the new additions and changes the game would bring to the zombie-slaughtering action sequel.
No matter how much we loved Dead Rising 2 (or cried at the obscene difficulty of its bosses) – bringing back Frank West and adjusting things to suit his perspective of the events; well that’s just awesome.
With more ways to dispose of the zombie hordes, and new game modes and tweaks added to the mix – it might just be worth it to take another trip into Fortune City.

Blizzard Gold Classics (PC)
Harken ye gamers of olde and nostalgia!
If you happen to be feeling broody about BlizzCon happening this Friday and not being able to be there yourself, why not satiate your needs by taking a step back into the past with some Blizzard Classics.
