Blizzard’s new Battle.net site goes live today

The new site allows players to merge their World of Warcraft accounts with a Battle.net account. This means a more unified platform for gamers playing Blizzard games.

The new site also links up with the Blizzard Store, allowing players to download Blizzard titles through Battle.net.

Battle.net users will also be automatically entered into future beta key draws.

“As we continue to build additional functionality into the new Battle.net, we will eventually require all active World of Warcraft accounts to migrate over to Battle.net Accounts in order to continue playing,” – A statement posted on Battle.net
