News you may have missed (30 April – 4 May)

5 May 2012

Yet another short week put everyone in a relatively relaxed mood after the long weekend, but that didn’t stop the news from rolling in as April faded into May. Some big (yet obvious) game announcements happened, along with a bunch of surprises and content, which isn’t making the wait for this year’s big games any easier.

Quote of the week

“Black Ops II will redefine the Call of Duty franchise for the future – both literally and figuratively” – Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing speaking about Black Ops II.

We’re not sure what his words even mean. What is the figurative future of Call of Duty? Or even the literal? Either way, his ambiguous statement made it our quote of the week.
