Pantheon Gaming announced that it will be hosting another Counter Strike Source competition at July’s Monthly Pretoria Lan Day (MPLD).
MPLD is hosted every month and takes place over a weekend. July’s event will take place from July 3 to July 5.
The Lan officially begins at 19:00 on Friday 3 July and is hosted at Kiepersol Community Centre in centurion. Entrance costs R70.
The Pantheon CSS Challenge will take place at the Lan on the Saturday at 09.00. Each team will have to pay a R250 entrance fee. (R50 per person + R70 MPLD entrance R70 = R120 per person)
A first place prize of R2000 will be awarded to the winning team. More prizes will be announced closer to the time.
The challenge will be played on the following maps de_dust2, de_train, de_nuke, de_inferno_pro, de_season and de_tuscan.
The ruleset will be released at the event and will be discussed between team captains.
The following teams have already signed up for the challenge: Pantheon Gaming, Broken Saints, Provoke, Swift, miNt Gaming, Team Soviet and Calamity.
July’s MPLD already has 84 registered attendees.
