The latest class to be announced for Bioware’s upcoming MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic, is the Smuggler class.
The new class will be based on Han Solo from the motion pictures, and will introduce abilities like “sucker punch”. With the smuggler class Bioware is also introducing the first ever cover system in an MMO.
Players will be able to and roll between cover points much like in third person action games such as Gears of War.
It remains to be seen exactly how this will work out when the Smuggler faces up against a light saber wielding Jedi or Sith.
