Entropy Gaming:

Chris “Evax” Noble
Gary “Craolia” Noble
David “Numb” Guimaraes
Hayden “PoOks” Huntington
Stephen “Kaname” Bonner
Kevin “Privacy” Woodland

Being one of the main teams to beat, eG has proven it’s self time and time again. Having won the last BOTC with an outstanding match against Brazen, they will be defending their title in this edition of BOTC COD4.

Entropy gaming had great success during 2008 and have started to carry some of that success over to 2009, winning the last BOTC and multiple FRAG LANS. The biggest competition Entropy looks to face is Brazen (now Team Vodacom).

Brazen have been able to take down eG twice this year in both the iGame Intel League as well as the AGASA Premier League, winning convincingly both times. Although their performance is a little shaky at the moment, with a little hard work and time I’m sure entropy could finish top 3.

All Star Personal:

Jerome “nwoRb” Brown
Richard “Rion” Kruger
Roehan “Ph)enix” Vosloo
AJ “Ginshank” Van Rensburg
Vernon “Reqium” Avis
John-Henry “Darkvark” Smith
Hendrik “Mindless” Kruger

A*P have been around for awhile but have never made the top 3 cut online. Their recent lineup changes might prove that A*P are a force to be reckoned with.

Both Thexx and Rhy have stepped down due to studies with A*P filling in the gaps with former r0gue player GinShank and Reqium. Having beaten favorites Brazen in the group stages with this new and improved lineup, there is hope that this team might make it through to the top.

Brazen:
Stephen “Vitrolic” White
Sean “r0adrunner” Grobler
Steyn “Vindicator” Grobler
Michael “Blackout” Ferguson
Max “fAith” McLaughlin

Fresh from victories in the iGame Intel League, AGASA Premier League and multiple OC victories, this team is a force to be reckoned with. Brazen have a very “head strong” lineup with each player able to clutch his way out of anything.

Unlike most teams, Brazen seem to rely on their teamwork rather than heavy strats, making them very flexible in game. Keeping a cool head in game is going to be key for this team but I expect nothing less than top 3.

aVatar:

Andrew “BezerK” Ferguson
Kieran “cas1no” Legg
Scott “cretix” Walker
Burlin “ePidmC” Russouw
Jayden “PhatNoob” Schröder
Johan “Decline” Wasserman

The recently formed aVatar have proven to be a heavy weight contender in the COD4 ring. Consisting of former entity and reZ players, this team has shown promise from the beginning of BOTC. Taking down both UbS and sG in the group stages before pushing through and cutting down the reformed Cyborgs in the beginning of the bracket stages.

I am looking forward to seeing aVatars performance throughout the rest of BOTC and AGASA. The only foreseeable problem would be the teams stability. It is no secret some of its members struggled to find a stable team before forming aVatar and only time will tell if this team is to stick together through thick and thin.

UbS Saints:

Luca “Robo” Tucconi
Tron “Razor” Frade
Erik “Revel” Vorsterinning
Ashley “Question/aSH” Hartmann
Wicus “Scammer” Van Rensburg
Michael “sw1tch” Eden

Saints have gotten off to a bit of a shaky start this BOTC. Having lost to aVatar in the group stages before being knocked down into the lower bracket by Entropy. Saints just seem never able to come out top, always falling short of their goal.

UBS Saints Have always placed top 3 in most leagues and tournaments but have never taken that golden number 1 spot. I believe this has affected their mentality as a team, although this does not mean they are to be taken lightly. Saints managed to beat favorites Brazen in the last AGASA Premier league, proving that they have what it takes.

Now with little more elbow and grease and perseverance I’m sure Saints can steer themselves back on track.
