Napoleon: Total War announced

The maker of the popular PC exclusive Total War series has announced yet another title. Creative Assembly’s next Total War game will be based on the famous French emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte announced publisher Sega at the Gamescom expo yesterday.

The game will follow the story of the diminutive warmonger; from his early days in fighting in Egypt, through is battles in Russia and finally ending at the Battle of Waterloo, where the man eventually surrendered.

Players will also be able to play as Napoleon’s enemies and “rewrite history as they see fit.” said Creative Assembly.

The developer stated that Napoleon: Total War will improve on the recent Empire: Total War, with better land and naval battles and an enhanced campaign map and diplomacy system.
