The sixth class for upcoming Star Wars MMO – Star Wars: The Old Republic – has been revealed and will join the Trooper, Smuggler, Jedi Knight, Bounty Hunter and Sith Warrior classes.
“The Imperial Agent always has the right tools at the right time,” BioWare community manager Sean Dahlberg said of the class in a recent forum post. “They use abilities of subversion and subterfuge to infiltrate and assassinate enemies of the Sith Empire with deadly efficiency. Players who choose to be Imperial Agents in The Old Republic will see the underbelly of the Empire in a whole new light.”
Despite the new information Bioware has failed to shed any light on the game’s official release date. It has been confirmed however that Beta testing is currently underway.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is Bioware’s first attempt at developing an MMORPG. The company is famous for developing Baldur’s Gate and more recently Mass Effect.
