The recently launched DX11 graphics cards from AMD will finally get a chance to stretch their legs in the first DX11 game which becomes available tomorrow, December 4.
Dirt 2 was released earlier this year on console, and was praised by gamers and critics alike. The PC version was delayed s so that the developers could include DX11 functionality.
The DX11 version promises improved water effects and crowd detail, as well as better lighting, shadows and depth of field HDRI effects.
Many who bought one of the new AMD HD 5000 series graphics card will have received a free download code for the game through Steam. The game unlocks on Steam tomorrow.
