Bioware has revealed a Mass Effect-inspired edition of the popular board game, Risk.
“Oh yes, it’s real, and it’s coming this Fall,” confirmed Bioware on its Facebook page, which also showed a prototype image of the planned strategy game.
Titled Risk’s Mass Effect: Galaxy at War Edition, the boardgame’s art shows the familiar Mass Effect 3 cover art, along with a 10+ age warning.
No other details on the board game have been revealed, although the traditional Risk map will most likely be swapped out for a map of ME’s galaxy setting.
Risk has previously released other game-inspired editions, such as the StarCraft Risk, Risk: Halo Wars Collector’s Edition, and Risk: Metal Gear Solid editions.
